The Department of Education has put in place a range of wellbeing support strategies for staff and students impacted by the Hillcrest Primary School tragedy.
These arrangements are continuously reviewed to ensure that they are meeting the needs of students, staff and their families.
A dedicated recovery team within the Department has been set up to oversee this work, in close contact with local staff.
Support for the Hillcrest Primary community remains a priority for the Department and will be provided for as long as it is needed.
If you are a student who needs some support, you can talk to your teacher, or any staff member at your School. You can also call one of the support organisations or send them an email and they will call you back.
Staff are encouraged to talk to their manager, who will be able to provide appropriate support options.
